The chair's activities are clearly focused on outreach, with the goal of sharing the knowledge generated and making it accessible to both the scientific community and the general public. On the one hand, public outreach conferences are organized in Terrassa and open to the general public, bringing the main research findings and their applications in urban water management to the public in an understandable and accesible way. These sessions contribute to raise awareness and favour social debate regarding the challenges of operational hydraulics, hydroeconomics, and governance. On the other hand, research results are also disseminated on academic and professional circles through participation in scientific and technical conferences where progress, methodologies and innovations are share with the international community. This presence reinforces the quality and impact of the work carried out by the chair, while also favouring the exchange of knowledge with other research groups and institutions.
