Award for the best TFG and the best TFM in Urban Water Engineering and Management.

OBJECTIVE

The TAIGUA Chair announces the first edition of the awards for the best Final Degree Project (TFG) and Final Master's Project (TFM) that have as their theme the field of Urban Water Engineering and Management, carried out throughout the 2024/2025 academic years in a degree or master's degree from any School of the UPC. Through these awards, the aim is to promote research in the digitalization, control, hydroeconomics and governance of urban water, promote work that can give rise to new lines of research in the UPC research groups and encourage collaboration with related companies, in addition to giving visibility to the academic work of young researchers.

Students

Any student who has defended their TFG or TFM during the 2024/2025 academic years in a bachelor's or master's degree from any School of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia will be eligible for the prize of this call.

Submission deadline

The submission period for works begins from the date of publication of the awards and ends on October 29, 2025.

Presentation form

The works must be submitted electronically using the form provided on this website for this purpose. The format must be PDF, with a limit of 100 MB.

Evaluation criteria

The works must be original and may be written in Catalan, Spanish or English.
The evaluation criteria for the works are:

  • Quality and originality of the work.
  • Quality of the methodology used and the objectives established.
  • The potential impact, application and social interest of the contributions.
  • The degree of innovation.

Selection committee

The selection committee will be made up of representatives from the TAIGUA chair
Two members of TAIGUA:

And two members of the UPC:

  • The director of the Chair, Sr. Ramon Pérez.
  • The director of ESEIAAT, Sr. .
